ACA has adopted the following documents that identify exemplary practices in the counseling profession aligned to an area of practice. Though not representative of mandatory requirements per the ACA Code of Ethics, competencies and exemplary practices present high-quality skills, knowledge, and behavior that can be implemented to address issues in the relevant areas.
