The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Center for Minority Veterans is currently seeking nominations of qualified candidates to be considered for appointments as a member of the Advisory Committee on Minority Veterans.
Appointees will provide leadership to the VA by advising the Secretary and Congress on issues relating to Veterans health care, benefits and service to minority Veterans. This committee is also responsible for meeting directly with Veterans and officials within the VA to address these concerns.
In order to be considered for this role, a nominee must have all materials to the VA no later than 5:00pm ET on July 15, 2021. The members appointed by the Secretary from the public must meet one or more of the following professional criteria:
