We believe that 2%-3% of the US population will have a gambling problem in any given year. That?s 6 million to 9 million Americans, yet only a small fraction seek help.
To educate the public and health care professionals about problem gambling and to raise awareness that hope and help are available, the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) has organized an annual National Problem Gambling Awareness Week to be held March 6-12, 2006.?
We invite you to join us by participating in at least one educational activity during the week.? Please visit The National Problem Gambling Awareness Week website (www.npgaw.org) for more information.
