Clinical Coordinator, International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF)
Lauren is a National Board-Certified Counselor and the Clinical Coordinator of the Behavioral Health Program at the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) in the Division of Health, Safety and Medicine.
Since 2008, Lauren has served the community as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in a range of community-based behavioral health treatment settings throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area. After joining the IAFF in 2017, Lauren led the rapid expansion of IAFF’s behavioral health program, which includes Peer Support and Resiliency Training, mental health clinician training, and the IAFF Center of Excellence treatment center, amongst a host of other programs and services. In 2024, Lauren was appointed co-chair for the United States Fire Administration (USFA) mental health taskforce.
