Reporting to the Vice-President of Academic Affairs the College is seeking to fill the newly created full-time position of Graduate Faculty in Counseling Psychology. The inaugural faculty member will work with current faculty in the undergraduate program to refine the proposal and curriculum for a graduate program in counseling psychology, to include the establishment of an on-site clinic. This faculty member will be expected to establish and maintain an active research program in the area of social communication.
Qualifications include a Ph.D./Psy.D./Ed.D. in Counseling, Clinical or School Psychology with interest in pursuing research related to social cognitive assessments and/or social communication disorders. Those with clinical expertise in the areas of assessment, social communication, and ASD are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must be licensed or license eligible in Massachusetts. Preference will be given to applicants who have a strong background in child development, have maintained a caseload of clients, have conducted social cognitive assessments with a variety of clients, and who are experienced in providing supervision to Master’s level candidates. Experience with ABA a plus.
