Description:
This position is responsible for providing a range of moderately complex clinical services (diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, individual, family and group therapy, etc.) with children, adolescents, and adults.This is accomplished by the following responsibilities: Administers, scores and interprets moderate level psychometric assessment instruments; Completes diagnostic assessments, Participates in the development of the Treatment Plan; and Provides ongoing mental health/clinical services, Maintains client documentation in accordance with SAFY policy.This position is also responsible for the case management functions of assigned foster youth based on clinical utilization, and respective foster homes which includes, but is not limited to the performance of the following duties: Review referrals of youth,Communicate with the foster parent/s,working in conjunction with the intake process defined by the state or SAFY division to insure complete placement; Conduct foster parent training including support groups,Conduct visits to the home, Discuss all relevant issues pertaining to the youth in care with foster parent(s), youth, school officials, natural parents, placing agency and other appropriate parties involved with the youth according to policy, regulations and best practice standards.
Position Requirements:
Master degree in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, or child & family studies is required. Experience in social work/child welfare/ mental health preferred. Must possess and maintain the appropriate highest level of licensure required by state , (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LBP/LADC)
