Overview
New Beginnings Family Services, Inc. is a private therapeutic foster care agency, providing therapeutic services to children in an environment where children can receive the support they need and families can acquire the training and assistance they need to enrich the life of their child(ren).

Under the administrative supervision of the Site Director, the Therapist performs tasks related to clinical services needed for a child/youth in care of the Program Services division. Some of the job functions consist of: Reviewing all clinical documentation completed to ensure comprehension and quality; attending, when possible, treatment team meetings with child/youth, foster parents, state workers, and other service providers involved in the treatment of the child/youth in collaboration with agency workers; attend all clinical service team meetings as agent of NBFS; identifies and utilizes community resources to assist in completion of treatment goals of youth in care; provides on-call support for therapeutic intervention as needed; communicates with biological family members, foster parent(s), state workers and other service providers regarding the treatment of the child/youth; collaborates with agency case manager to complete several statutory reporting forms; provides counseling in light of child's needs, though not less than twice each month; and involves biological family in family sessions.

A minimum of a CSW, LPCC LPCA , LCSW, MFTA or LMFT is required; if not licensed to practice independently, must currently be under supervision. A minimum of one (1) years of relevant experience to agency clientele with a minimum of two (2) years experience in the Social Services or Human Services field. An equivalent combination of education, related training, and experience may be substituted for minimum years required.
